Taxes are a necessary evil of our society and we live in taxing times.
Everyone wants to cut their tax bill to the bare minimum, but they want
to be able to withstand an audit. When you have a refund, "Show me the Money, Now."
When you have to pay money, you want to pay as little as possible
as late as possible without penalty.
At Bennie R. King, P.C. we understand these and other truisms of the tax
business. This is how we approach them:

If at all possible, we make an appointment for you to come to our office to
prepare a draft of your individual income tax returns. We feel that you are
guaranteed of having the most complete and thought out return if you are sitting
in front of us when we have questions or want to pursue possible avenues of tax
savings. When you leave, we will have a good draft of your return and a good
list of any pending items, which we have agreed upon, that we need to complete
your return. No more surprises from just dropping off your information.

Only an experienced CPA will meet with you to prepare your return. In most firms
your contact may be an experienced CPA but the tax returns get passed down to
the newest and lowliest junior accountants.

We will do everything possible to make this necessary experience as painless as
possible. Our appointments are scheduled based on the amount of time that is
necessary to do your work. This avoids waiting because of appointment overruns.
We will send postcards and leave messages to remind you of your appointments.
You will be greeted by friendly personnel that will offer you coffee and drinks.
We will meet you after hours to avoid conflicts with your work, including
Saturday appointments during tax season.

We electronically file all individual income tax returns. If you are
receiving a refund, it can be direct deposited into your checking account within
2 weeks. The Internal Revenue Service notifies us of acceptance of your
return, therefore no late returns from lost mail. The IRS does not have to
handle your return, thus what is in our computer is what will be in their
computer.

The fee for our services is based on forms used to prepare the return, not on an
hourly basis. Therefore the complexity of the return determines the cost and
you do not have to worry about how much time we spend. At the end of your
appointment you pay for your tax return. Their are no hidden costs or charges.

We turn around most returns within a week of your appointment or receiving your
pending information. No more waiting for weeks or months to see your final
return.
